Hello all,
Thanks for visiting our website! We'd like to invite your comments, photos, stories and enthusiasm for time spent outdoors with your favorite canines.
If you are uber-excited about this dog park idea, we are always looking for motivated volunteers to help Bannock Bark Parks move forward with our plans for building a fenced dog park in town. You can also help out just by rallying your friends, neighbors, local officials, etc to support dog parks in our area - it's especially important to tell your Mayor, City Council and Parks & Recreation Departments that a dog park here in town is definitely worth the investment!
Right now, we are working to to raise money for the Capell Park project - we have a site to build on, a partnership commitment from the City of Chubbuck, and lots of dogs who want to play - we just need to buy the fence, signs, and landscaping for the park.
Help us spread the word that the dog park is still in the works, and that we are working toward making it a reality! Feel free to pass on the url for this website to fellow dog aficionados.
I look forward to hearing from you!

I wish Pocatello would realize how important this project is for regional development! This is exactly the type of amenity that attracts attention of companies considering relocation. Mayor Chase: Are you listening???

Thanks for your hard work, Alissa!

Great idea!! We are always looking for a place to bring our dogs...where they can run free without running away! Plus they love to play with other dogs...well, after a bit of butt sniffing and growling, that is!!
Thanks...I'll pass this website information around!

Maybe there wouldn't be so many loose or stray dogs if their owners had a place for them to go and run and socialize. It's good for the owners, too!

I just moved here from Southern California. I can't believe there are no dog parks. I own a very friendly Siberian Husky who misses our dog park. He needs an enclosed place to run free and mix with other dogs. Let a husky off-leash in a non-enclosed area for even a second and he will be go for miles at an unbelievable speed. As soon as we settled down I will send in a contribution.

I think it would be a great addition to the area to have a dog park.. After living in Seattle, I got spoiled with all of the off leash area's and would love to have one here. It is such a relief to be able to let dogs play in an enclosed space and not have to worry about them getting loose and running off, and to be able to socialize with other dogs.. You definitely have my support!

To prepare, we would wake up around 6AM to go to the park. Usually it was very foggy. We had a simply routine which basically involved me shooting the basketball a couple of hundred times where he would retrieve the ball for me every time.
